ROUTE
The seminar begins at the ferry port in Tangier Med.
During the tour, all the mountain ranges of Morocco are crossed (Middle Atlas, High Atlas, Anti-Atlas).
The campaign will advance into the Sahara foothills, reaching almost to the Algerian border.
The journey continues westward through the desert, then northward over the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. The seminar ends here.
For those traveling home with us: From Marrakech northwards to the Atlantic coast as far as Tangier Med (purple part).

WHAT WILL WE DO
The "Long-Distance Travel Seminar under Real-World Conditions" is designed to specifically develop skills in handling your own vehicle in a wide variety of situations and environments. To this end, we immerse ourselves in a foreign culture and, under unfamiliar traffic and climatic conditions, against the backdrop of a diverse and challenging landscape, will practice safe and relaxed travel.
In off-road driving situations, we work together to overcome inhibitions and build confidence. Repairs will also occur on the road – here you can learn some approaches and tricks from our mechanics to confidently tackle your own challenges.
Refresh your knowledge of analog and digital navigation and learn how to guide the driver outside the vehicle and how to communicate between guide and driver to overcome obstacles as a team.
Furthermore, let yourself be delighted by the warm hospitality of the locals and collect magical memories, valuable experiences and the courage to confidently explore the world on your own.
A world full of color, culture and unforgettable off-road experiences awaits you!

TIPS AND ADVICE
This event is explicitly a driver training course and not a tourist tour. A total of up to approximately 3000 km will be covered during the tour. All participants are required to have a sufficient level of fitness and stamina.
Fuel and food supplies can be replenished at the start of the tour. There will be further opportunities to replenish all supplies during the tour. For basic safety, all vehicles should carry enough fuel for approximately 600 km off-road (either in the tank or in jerrycans).
All participants in the driver training should bring their own personal equipment, including recovery gear, spare parts, and tools, suitable for their vehicle. If you do not yet have such equipment, we will be happy to advise you.
Carrying a CB radio to facilitate communication is recommended, as is a Moroccan SIM card.
The route is to be completed by the group of participants in convoy. It's possible that a vehicle might get stuck at any time. In such cases, teamwork is essential to free the stuck vehicle with combined effort. We won't leave anyone behind. In the event of a breakdown, we will organize the recovery or repair together.
For the driver training, we recommend comfortable, lightweight, and weatherproof clothing (plus a set of work clothes) as well as footwear appropriate for the terrain. Stones, sand, dust, water, sun, and adverse weather conditions can lead to significant soiling or damage, which does not entitle you to compensation.
General Dangers: All off-road driving training involves risks beyond the ordinary operation of a vehicle, sometimes placing extreme demands on both driver and equipment. Peak loads can occur when driving in difficult terrain and track conditions. Therefore, increased vigilance is required of all participants.
If animals are to accompany this tour, please check the suitability of your animal companions for group travel in advance - please observe ferry and entry/exit conditions (especially vaccinations) for animals.
